Objective: Distinguishing between the long A sound and the Long I sound
- Choose the long A sound and the long I sound.
- Learn the patterns and rules for the long A sound and for the long I sound.
- Select a word. In this example, when you click on the word lake, the program will automatically select the word like.
- You can press 1, 2, or 3 to play the word lake, like, or look respectively. You can press the space bar to play the long A sound or the long I sound depending on which list box is selected.

You will need to invest 15 to 30 minutes a day to go through the list. It may take a week for you to go through the list. Don't worry about whether you remember the pattern or not because you will remember it later.
