Objective: Learning which consonants are voiced and which are unvoiced.
- Learnig which consonants are voiced and which are unvoiced is important because it guides you to say the ending S sound and the ending ED sound.
- The voiced consonant sounds are b, d, g, v, z, dh, and zh.
- The unvoiced consonant sounds are p, t, k, f, s, th, and sh.
- The additional voiced consonant sounds are j, r, l, y, and w.
- The additional unvoiced consonant sounds are h and ch,
- The nasnal consonant sounds which are voiced consonants are m, n, and ng.
